Prof Ng is a Changjiang Scholar Chair Professor at Beijing Normal University, and an Adjunct Professor at NUS in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is a fellow of the Academy of Engineering Singapore and the International Water Association. He also specializes in biological wastewater treatment, membrane processes for water reuse and desalination, and has extensive consulting experience in Asia and the United States. He also bears a PhD in Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley.
